They backed down from that: for now.

Anyone ever think like they're trying to strangle the next p2p-based YouTube before it happens?

(didn't they avoid mentioning p2p or filesharing in the types of things that are allowed?)

Google is rather scary, looks like they are cutting out the middle men and want to see every byte in and out of your home. He said, posting from his Android tablet ;-)

Diabolical. Just looked up their Privacy Policy and they already associate all your TV usage with your Google account (which you are required to have) and they may associate other data 'with your consent'. They're definitely smart: moar data for dem ads.
