My interpretation is that you'll need gold in order to play things like PVP and Raids that you enter with a group, while story missions will only require Silver despite having a multiplayer element.

Huh.

So Bungie thinks so much of cooperative play that they made it a core component of Destiny's campaign.

Microsoft thinks so little of cooperative play that they don't care if it sneaks in through their paywall.
