What does ‘Set as PlayStation Clan’ mean?

is it:

Sets the clan to be only available to Destiny players on ‘PlayStation’ (PS3? PS4?)

Join this clan!

Then that group name will appear underneath your PSNID on your 'card' and you will be able to access the member list and see who is online from within Destiny.
