Yup. I'm all for gravitas, but that pretty clearly wasn't the aim here. This trailer wanted to say "hey, this game is good for random shenanigans with your friends," and I think it pulled that off quite well. Also, the "classical music" bit, while a tad cheesy, clues in people who might not be familiar with Destiny that it's set in our world/race's future (as opposed to being about an alien race, or set in A Galaxy Far, Far Away).
