"We still don't have a damage formula for this game and people are ignoring the 'base' part of the comment. I mean sure, the fact that it does about half of what it used to is fishy, but we don't actually know how crucible damage is calculated anyway.

How damage is calculated is the kind of thing that should be in the official strategy guide :-p
