I also thought the comment about the servers being indifferent to console types was interesting. Could we see cross platform play?

Maybe, but I don't think that's what he was referring to. He was just talking about the fact that from the perspective of Bungie's servers, talking to XBoxes isn't much different from talking to Playstations, due to the way the game's built. Meaning they're all using the same API/protocols or whatever. Which is sensible.
