but it is totally consistent with the Destiny universe where people can feel what the Hive is up to.
It is, perhaps, the ultimate cop out. Can't think of any reason character X should know Y? Sorcery.
Bah. Would you rather have some sci-fi technobabble instead? It makes as much sense as Flood communications. Same thing, different styles. The fantasy-bashing I've seen on this forum is just closed-minded and unimaginative.
