Here's how he did it:

3 Warlocks, each run the raid. Delete two, and re-level to 20, and run the raid again. Repeat.

See Bungie? No matter what you do, people will try to find ways around it.

A. How does that even work.
B. Is there some incentive for deleting a character?

I'm guessing it's because new characters can run the the raids again and receive rewards again, whereas usually you'd have to wait until the following week after a completion.

Funnel all drops from the constantly new alternate characters to the main never deleted one.

Not my idea of fun, but it's a loophole for those eager/desperate enough.
