-Something that looked good in the editor will look terrible in cutscenes, and I'll find a good looking helmet or gas mask to hide my mistake.
Especially with future-tech games, I'm very disappointed when they don't work in some way to be able to change the look of your character mid-game.
It would also make a fun moment when you meet up with someone who wasn't aware of your surgery:
"Guardian! There you ar... oh, sorry, your armour looks like someone I know."
"No, it is me! I've had some work done. What do you think?"
"You should have left it how it was."
"Ouch!"
