I understand it feels good to vent, we all need to do it at some point! As some has said, part of the problem stems from the xbone party system, but it could be a notification issue.

Who is really to blame? How about the players that are spamming you? They are the ones who are abusing the system and harassing you.

I think this is a great example of how a social games like Destiny and Microsft's invite/party systems just aren't perfected yet. It's still early in this current generation of hardware and software. They'll get it fixed.
