Apparently I have been thinking about Destiny way too much lately.

I had a dream last night (I nearly never remember my dreams) about getting an exotic warlock bond as a drop. I had to remove my exotic armor before I could equip it which I thought was pretty dumb. The bond didn't provide any sort of buff that I was aware of. The sole purpose was for it to look great and help distinguish yourself as a more hardcore player since you didn't need to rely on the added perks of the exotic items. The more I thought about it in my dream the more I liked the idea of an exotic class item that doesn't do anything.

Now that I'm awake I still kind of like the idea of an exotic class item. I think it would be cool if you could get an exotic class item for one of the factions that provides a buff for that specific faction. Make them work like the Iron Banner items do where you get a 10% buff on all activities while wearing them.

There should definitely be a reward for using them, like an XP or reputation buff, but an exotic class item that doesn't affect gameplay directly would be pretty cool. They would just have to make sure that whatever benefits you gain can only be gained by actually wearing it. Not putting on when you turn in bounties or anything like that.

I also want an exotic spaceship. And land speeder.

So I was dreaming about Halo (in engine in 2003). I dreamt that I had just Dark Helmeted my warthog up to the top of the third tower in Halo, and there was an energy sword up there. Hovering, blade pointed up, just like in Halo 2. I picked it up, and its attacks were broadly similar to the ones in Halo 2.

When Halo 2 came out I sometimes would tell people "Dude, I totally dreamt this." They'd call me weird.

NOW, in Destiny 2, when they have an exotic class item, you can point to this thread and say that you weren't weird.

It would have to be REALLY cool and REALLY actually exotic to work, "Because when everyone is super".

As a Warlock - I would want to be blue flames - all over, that also effects the animation of my character.

Before Destiny was announced I had a dream about what Bungie's new game could be.

Hahaha, I didn't see that when you posted it. That's pretty great. Now I want a Destiny themed golf game!

I was on vacation and went to a place on a golf course in Myrtle Beach, where they had PGA pros available to teach you how to golf, complimentary. They set up cameras that recorded at 60 FPS and showed you your swing from different angles, then told you how to change it, and worked with you during the trip. My handicap went down 15 strokes, so now it's at like 145 over par.

It would be amazing if there was an Xbox app that used the Kinect and a large room to tell you if your golf swing is any good. I'd use that all the time.

Could you imagine the laugh value alone? Where nice, middle aged fathers accidentally chuck a 5 iron through their new Zenith and ruin their kids' weekends? I'd be so happy.

Also, top of the line cameo from Cody. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
