For weapons I'm using Suros Regime, Two to the Morgue or Praedyth's Revenge (depending on the map) and Corrective measure.

PR used to be my go-to sniper in Crucible (regular or IB) - 6 shot clip, pretty fast rate of fire, nice handling.

I switched to LDR during the last IB, though, and I can't go back. Even though I only get 4 shots, and they fire slower... the added punch is awesome. (And though the overpenetration was definitely nerfed in 1.1.1, it's still SORT of there; I killed 3 people through walls yesterday. Crates don't work as well as they used to - I used to be able to toast people from B's heavy spawn on Blind Watch when they were hiding behind the crate at the top; now I can't do that any more. But the wall in front of A on Firebase Delphi? Sure, no problem. :) Toss a grenade onto the cap point, they'll push over to the wall to protect themselves (and to be ready to shotgun you as you come in). Fire a few shots through the wall, and there's no need to actually engage. ;) )

That sounds awesome! I've actually never experimented with overpenetration in Destiny (PvP or PvE). I have several LDRs... 5, I think... so I'm sure at least 1 of them has the overpenetration perk. I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for the tip!
