Exactly how I use the bladedancers grenade. Trip Mine can be great, but you really gotta throw it right at their feet or hope they aren't paying attention.

Protip:

Put them on the walls instead. That way when they run past they get wrecked. The pattern of activation seems way better with wall mounted tripmines.

or

Use Young Ahamkara's Spine for increased tripmine duration, and plant one near the Heavy ammo box shortly before it fills up. Works every time.
