Etheric Light upgrades old weapons (Destiny)

I saw the upgrade for new armor, but missed what he said for older legendary armor. You're certain it is upgradable too? If so I want to buy a couple of pieces while they're available.

Yes, he said any legendary gear, including armor, can be upgraded.
