Granted, I only ever use it in VoG at this point, but the Persistence perk turns it's stream into a laser beam of void death, and it has the clip size to back it up. I NEVER run out of ammo with Field Scout turned on.

See I only ever use it with the stability perk on over field scout... maybe I'll change that up.
