Keep an eye on the Fireteam Builder (Destiny)
I don't know if it existed before you left, but it's on the top right of the forum and it's super useful. There's always loads going on, from Raids, Crucible Nights, Nightfalls and now HoW content too.
Very useful if you're in need of a Fireteam, and of course you can post your own event if you'd prefer.
