Honestly I found it more interesting than most horde modes. (Destiny)

I think all great horde modes have 1 thing in common: they give your team the opportunity to fortify a location against incoming waves of foes....The arenas in PoE offer almost none of this. It's just messy chaos, all the time.

There's method to that madness. Running around ninja reviving Raga and Chaossociety, or using cloak to flank around enemies to draw enemies away from the rest of the team, was the most fun I've ever had playing this game. It's a lot like the abyss, actually, but with more strategies available.
