Acquiring third sublcass? (Destiny)

It looks to me as if you acquire your subclass at specific locations in the game. Check out the trailer here: https://youtu.be/VFh5ArG46_M?t=1m5s
Hunter: Venus (? certainly around the Vex)
Warlock: Mars (or is that the Cosmodrome? I recognize, but can't place the logo on the building behind him).
Titan: Mercury
Do we unlock these by completing specific missions or something? How cool would that be, a little quest or story about unlocking your new subclass?
