Yes. That's how a sane and fair person would do it. But if you've followed Bungie's handling of Destiny up to this point, you'd know that's not their MO.

I think if the gaming press and the players continually and relentlessly mock them for such inclusions, maybe they will be embarrassed enough to stop. It's already gotten WAY better since launch.

I'd like to believe that, but experience has taught me that financial motivations take precedent with big projects. We can mock and complain all we like, but if their internal numbers are still good, and support what their "User Research" team has predicted, why would they stop or change?
