Not sure what they are completely, but they definitely aren't just bounties since it's under the quest section, not under the bounty section to the right.

Ah, I see what you mean now. Maybe it's to unlock the new supers?

The strangest part though is he has two separate ones, one for Gunslinger and one for Bladedancer. I actually wonder if there are going to be masteries of some kind for each subclass.
