Cabal with the shields reminding me a lot of Hunters from Halo. Apparently they explode violently when they die lol

I actually took the explosions to be tied with that special pistol not the Cabal. What with the "pink electricity" appearing after they've been shot/as they explode, and something similar when the Hunter reloads.

Also the Cabal explosions end by pulling into themselves, that's kinda cool like a black hole-ish something or rather!

*EDIT* Looks like I should have read INSANE's post first heh.

Yeah, that makes sense. :)

I wonder if that's something that will translate into the game itself with special weapons or attacks causing alternate death animations. I think there was a bit of that in the Mass Effect games with the different kinds of ammunition.
