What I want to know is why they don't want us to delete junk (Destiny)

They make sure to talk about the light level thing and the warnings to not delete stuff in wholly different spots in their weekly updates and stuff, and have not been clear about if the reason is just because of us accidentally deleting good stuff or if there is some other one.
