Quite happy with the PvP updates overall (Destiny)

Spent a good chunk of time in the Rift playlist with Slycrel, Vortech, and Cody last night. Had a great time. The new maps are beautiful (the one on mercury is my favorite so far). I loved the variety I was seeing in terms of other players' weapon selections. Could be partially chalked up to people experimenting, but I was seeing a nice range of pulse rifles, auto rifles, and hand cannons. Shotguns and snipers still dominate the special weapon slots (don't think I saw a single fusion rifle except for when Cody and Slycrel were trying theirs), which is a bit disappointing. The blink/shotgun combo still seems as rampant as ever, too. The 2.0 tweaks don't seem to have lessened that move's effectiveness in any substantial way. Hopefully that will get addressed in the near future. Oh, and the Messenger still rules ;)

One thing that did jump out at me though is that as much as I enjoy the rift gametype, Destiny PvP is still plagued by super-spam, IMO. Going from Trials back to standard Crucible really makes me wish there were more playlists that limited the use of supers in some way.
