That kind of defeats the purpose of a buff. I mean, you do something hard to get something. The way it is now makes perfect sense to me.

True, but it was kind of meant to be a band-aid until they figured out how they wanted the nightfall buff to work. Rather than take away the bonus rep/XP that people were counting on, they'll just give it to everyone for now.

i never saw a problem with the way it was. You get xp for everything (except raids). If you do this one thing that is extra hard, then you get rewarded with the Buff.
