I know we are starting the Raid on Friday.

I'm trying to get some idea of what's going to happen through the weekend. I'm trying to get Saturday off work, and I'm pretty sure I will be, but it's not one hundred percent yet.

And I might have a few things to do on Sunday and be able to start around 2:00 pm CST, but I might also be able to move some of that stuff around, too. Just trying to coordinate a bit, rather than trying to cobble something together that works with everyone on Friday night when quit.

Basically, I'm not positive that I can devote all weekend to it like some were mentioning last week. Looks like it'll be mid-afternoon starts on Saturday and Sunday for me, unless everyone else is planning on starting earlier on those day, and I can possibly move some things around.

EDIT: Also, if you want, post the times you'll be online this week, and maybe we can run some strikes or whatever to get ready. I'll be on tomorrow evening for sure, and then either Wednesday or Thursday, I'm not sure yet.

I can also continue on Monday, and into the rest of the week, but definitely not for more than say two hours or so on week nights.

I'm trying be as flexible as possible, I know everyone is going to have a different schedule. I'm just trying to avoid having folks waiting on me for too long on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday I have a BBQ party to attend to, but should be back way before what you guys call "late".

I honestly didn't even consider that! I think we'll be fine though, from the times for completion folks have been reporting.

I'm available to play till midnight Friday, maybe 1am. And I'm good after 5pm on saturday. After that I won't know till this friday when I get my new schedule. Chances are if I have to work sunday it'll be late shift 1-9pm.

The latter, I think. Midnight is just too late for me to start during the week, and even on the weekend I wouldn't make it more than two hours or so past that.

Steel signed up long ago. Like many, including myself, he probably signed up for several because he wasn't sure when he'd be ready.

I really want to try this raid blind, and I'm finally 290, so I'm a 2nd week raider. Kernit's FTB seemed perfect. But starting early in the week and splitting it up over several nights feels better to me, which is why I signed up with Mid7night.

I still love Kermit, but all love is unrequited. :)

I would love to play during the week, but it's just not all that feasible for me. I can't be online for long periods every single night.

Still, if the others in the group are willing, I am down to start earlier than Friday, say tomorrow or Thursday night, basically just give us an extra evening in there.

No worries. I was admittedly taken aback somewhat by your CAPS response, but I understand where your coming from.

If anyone should be "helping the other team", it should be the ones on my event switching to yours - You've been talking about this for weeks. Then again, people's personal schedule preferences are their own, and usually a lot more complicated than anyone else ever realizes.

I hope it works out for us both!

I loved the way Beorn helped the community find teams last year. I guess now that we have the fireteam builder that isn't necessary, but I was half-expecting it, and kind of wanting to do that myself, but wasn't as definite or as organized as Beorn.

I really don't mind waiting, I've got plenty to do on my Alts. Plus I want to try for this newly-uncovered exotic sniper from the Daily tonight.... ;)

Those are my thoughts, as well. If our time really doesn't work for him, then it's not a huge deal. It's just a vidja game.

I think we can probably find someone. If not, I am okay with waiting. I would suggest allowing a sixth that has already done it, if they agree to not give anything away, but I can't honestly see that working out at all. It'd be incredibly boring for them, I would imagine, and would probably take away from our experience somewhat as well.

We could try /r/Fireteams or something to get a sixth, but I've never used that or LFG or anything, so I'm not sure what sort of chances you're taking in getting a reliable non-trolling player there.

I don't have any personal friends to turn to for filling the spot, either. The few I have the play Destiny are on PS4 or have done the Raid already.

Sure. ... Or I could do dailies with you and raid with Kermit. As long as I can play D:TTK with good people, I'm happy.

Virgin raids work like this: You try something. It doesn't work. The group comes up with different strategy. It doesn't work. Repeat until it works. Would I have had the patience to spend three hours in the gorgon maze had I known the path? Probably not.

Some people don't have that patience regardless, but it's so thrilling to succeed after multiple failures!

Yeah, I get it. I was just suggesting whatever came to mind to try and make things work. I feel like if I had done the Raid, but five other folks desperately needed a sixth, I would agree to help with those terms initially, but I'm not sure I would be able to hold out for hours upon hours while knowing the solution.

It looks like we're all good now, though.
