Shoots slower than messenger, and the fourth shot actually decreases your fire rate while not having the same TTK as the Messenger. Has a great cracking sound, and I maxed it out in the hopes that the perks would improve my experience with it, but no dice.

After lots of frustration, I sharded it for the Marks.

Sounds like you didn't have a great roll. That "4th bullet" perk doesn't seem helpful to me at all. The vendor version is fantastic, though.

I had the one that the Vanguard gives you for free. I updated my initial post with a video of it.

Yeah that's where I got my first one, wasn't crazy about it either. It had headseeker, but nothing to help with stability. Basically I had to hit someone in their left shoulder for Headseeker to be of any use. But the vendor version I bought today is way better. Really happy with it so far.
