Hollywood Envy

It's a trailer. One medium is only so many steps away from another while trying to show what it is with 30 seconds of pre-rendered non-interactive video.

How long before entire games are 8 hour versions of that, or at least, close enough that there is no meaningful distinction? Didn't COD have a level that literally played itself?

I just see this stuff as sign posts on the road. Writing on the wall. Etc.
