Iron Banner Drop Rates (Destiny)

Happy Friday all!

I have seen alot of things about people griping about the terrible Iron Banner drop rates (myself included). Before TTK, I was getting Spare Change .25 and Party Crashers like crazy. During Iron Banner I would get about 2 drops a night, which would be about 4 hours.

I randomly decided to see how many games I had played since the start of this Iron Banner. 56 is the magic number, which made my jaw drop when I added them up. From this you could probably assume that 5 or so were in progress joins. Also you have to take into consideration the fact that you have to be rank 2 to start getting drops, were probably sitting at about 40-45ish games that I had a chance to get drops. The pool of available Iron banner drops increases as your level increases. So far I have got 3 drops. 2 IronWreath-D's and the Warlock Bond. 3/40= 7.5% drop rate, roughly by taking into account the Rank requirements for some drops. It seems to me that this should be significantly higher. I would like to see about a 15-20% drop rate. I feel like 1 every 4 matches (25%) would be a little much, because I would have gotten 10 drops by now, and its not even the weekend.

All in all, I hope the fix is better, as this is supposed to be the primary way of obtaining gear from Trials/Iron Banner.

How have your drop rates been? I know some people I was playing with last night had just got their first drops, and have probably played more than myself.
