I'm guessing it's just like the first quest for Sleeper Simulant. You only needed to do the first mission of that on the right day.

Also keep in mind that there is a pre-req for this quest, which is that you obtained the FWC ghost shell in the Paradox mission when it was a daily. I'm not sure if you turn in that ghost shell by doing the daily today (Paradox again), whether you could immediately gain the next part of the quest or you would have to wait again.
