Bungie has to be careful here. Nerfing weapons that players may have spent weeks getting (either by drop or marks), and possibly even more time leveling up, can lead to a lot of frustration.

Good thing they are patching it 2 weeks in, aye? The game is just a baby.
Besides, unless they over do it, the worst is that the weapon becomes about as good as other high ranked weapons, instead of OP like it apparently is. It'd be disappointing, but it's not like the investment was wasted, as it should still be a weapon on par with others.

Just glad I haven't yet spent my marks on Shadow Price.
