While true, it did tell you, Purples are so rare that getting one and then having it turn into a Blue was disappointing. The way it is now, where a Blue can only be a blue or better is a far more player friendly way of doing things. Plus, instead of a chance for disappointment, now there is only a chance for delight! All in all it was the right change to make.
