Tips for a kid Destiny player (Destiny)
Lil'Blue is 8 and just plays from time to time. Both of my kids are into Minecraft, and it seems like that's the popular game for kids their ages, so Destiny hasn't been his main game for the last few months.
He mainly runs strikes and patrol missions. He's run VoG and Crota with me and with some nice folks from here that let him tag along. The main thing for raids is to make sure the group is ok with a younger player.
Encourage him to play for fun and don't worry about the grind for light level. Lil'Blue lost interest because he didn't want to do the grind to be able to raid.
