Loot drops, cheating, and boosting

I imagine that Bungie wouldn't be very kind to players that exploit the game, given their past attitude toward cheaters. But in a game that features a large pve element, who knows how they will react to people who mod or duplicate items.

I think how harsh they are will at least in part depend on whether you can use the weapons you acquire in the co-op world in PvP combat.
