Backwards? (Destiny)

I remember them saying Level 41 has treasure room. Challenge mode does not.

Does this sound backwards to anyone else?

No, it sounds exactly like Trials and Crucible.

So the challenge mode, which is semi-competitive because of the scoring system and the lack of loot, features no matchmaking, so you have to bring your own fireteam to compete against.

This is exactly like Trials: You grab a card and try to do the best you can. You have to grab friends because this is an upper tier PoE.

Level 4x PoE has a new treasure room without keys and with no weekly limits on loot, but does matchmaking, so if you don't bring a full fireteam you'll end up with randoms.

That really, really seems like it should be the other way around. I should be playing with friends to get sweet loot we can share.

You can, you just invite your friends... I don't know if you know this, but your friends only play with you if you invite them, regardless of match making or not :D

I should be poaching kills from randoms to try and be Top Guardian.
