I'm afraid I have to eat my own hat here, I had so many engrams drop during the lead up and final boss fight that I lost my raid gloves to the netherspace of the in game mail system.

I'm fine taking the next quest steps in bite size portions, if anyone has time monday afternoon to run the night fall or some archon's forge steps, we don't have to do everything at once.

The next step can be knocked out really quickly. Dooood, Zero, and I were probably done in just over an hour and we weren't really going for speed. We played around in Iron Banner for a while, but if you just want to get the "three crucible matches or strikes" part over with quickly, you can enter the Elimination playlist and throw all three games and be done in a hurry. In fact, if you haven't done the "complete 5 trials cards" part of your record book yet, you might be able to knock out one of those cards while you're at it :)
