I imagine they're taking quite a bit of time to get it "right" on all platforms, but at face value the change sounds weird.

Also, what happens if I want to play on a PC with my Xbox controller? Hope it changes like the article suggested.

Yeah a few interviews I've seen they say they are trying to match controller play on PC to how it feels on the consoles. They even said in one of them that they didn't feel like the advantage auto-aim gives you on a controller out weighs the advantage of a mouse, so I'm hoping it feels exactly the same!
