I did a little testing and at relatively close range it looked like maybe it did about 5% reduction in overal spread. But knowing how aspects of ADS works (i.e., shifting effective points of impact via zoom) would be enough to account for the difference. It is also possibly a PC based issue.
Edit: Apparently not a bug, the ADS is less effective at closer ranges but still not a major impact to the overall grouping.
