Great read thanks. I have been doing this a LONG time (lurking, but I always feel that sounds a little derogatory). I remember stumbling onto the Marathon story page around twenty years ago and getting into Myth at the same time. And then there was Oni, Halo, Destiny.bungie.org...
Hamish's work was what introduced me to the idea of an online community about a game I liked.
I rarely have much to contribute, and these days there are many other things happening that stop me pouring into every detail elsewhere, but this is one of reasons I keep coming back. A big thanks! Nice work.
