Destiny has always had top-tier gunplay. (Destiny)

I've always consistently maintained the opinion that Destiny has the best FPS gunplay on the market since D1's release, bar none. It's the gameplay loop and systems that pushed me away. I just don't have the time to make it the hobby it wants me to make it. I wish I could participate in high-difficulty endgame content without having to chase the ceiling every season, and even though I think that has improved in this year of Destiny 2, it's too late for me.

Makes sense, but it's sad, nonetheless.
