This is the inevitable consequence of long-term poor management, plain and simple, and the lowest employees on the totem pole are paying the price as always.

That's kind of an absolute statement, no? Sometimes those high on the totem pole get the axe because that saves the most money. And they did say every level of the company was affected. I think Pete Parsons could be gone tomorrow.
