Did you listen to this podcast? They talk about investment pretty much the whole time. I found their answers to be pretty satisfactory if not telling in how Destiny plans to not illicit investment systems in the negative ways you were fearing.

Just curious if you had listened and, no matter how slim a chance it may be, considered the whole 'investment' thing differently.

No. Listening to podcasts is dumb. If there's a transcript of it somewhere, I'd certainly read it given the topic.
