There has been no mention of a "season pass", so that puts into question how long of a wait it will be between DLC packs, how many there will be, and what they will consist of. Given that Bungie supposedly has free reins over Destiny, one would imagine that this is why we haven't heard anything regarading DLC...

Expansion pack-style downloadable content (DLC), code named "Comet," will be released every other year
