Also, his mention of the July 17th beta start date (11:43 in the video) certainly seemed to suggest that it was for all consoles, but maybe that's just my wishful thinking. Here's the quote:

Be there for the beta on July 17th. Anybody who pre-orders a game on any one of those consoles is welcome to play.

They've always said the beta would be for all four consoles. To wit:

Destiny is officially available for pre-order on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The Beta will also support all four platforms. Your Destiny Beta Code will grant you access to one of these platforms.

July 17th it will start on the PS4, with the Xboxen "soon after."
