I don't think you are. I think you're trying to sanctimoniously make a show of me because I don't represent the mainstream view here.

The "uh, maybe" at the start of my post is certainly suggestive. Maybe that was part of my inner motivation. I dunno, but I suppose I won't explicitly deny it.

Even if that's true, though, the two possible motivations for my post do not mutually exclude each other. I know for sure that I intended for it to be an accurate explanation of what happened. So yes, that is what I was doing, even if I happened to be doing something else at the time.
