Yeah it is a big red flag, the only thing I can think of is that the beta was such a huge success that they have only to lose and nothing to gain by subjecting the game to reviews. I'm just having a hard time imagining what they could hide that wasn't in the beta. Cohesive story issues? Scope of the vanilla game? I know I'm disappointed about that but we already know about it anyhow. Maybe every boss in the game is as boring as the spider tank? I suspect it's probably just a nothing to gain situation.
