They choose their own questions, so if it had grinding and I didn't want to say it, I wouldn't answer the question. Obviously I'm still speculating, but it's seems illogical they'd answer the question if it had grinding since they don't have to.

Also, I'm pretty surprised that nobody has (publicly) interpreted the 'shiny loot' comment as a wry commentary on the paranoia of the internet...

I don't get the connection, so that might be a reason.
