I think I got the gist of it. We should always have an Oracle-killing duo inside the time-stream to wipe them out. That means we should have another duo capable of keeping Supplicants out of the way, since maybe we'll need the third to go inside and take the Relic in case it gets dropped.

Having both Oracles and a dropped Relic being able to wipe us in no time makes it really stressful.
