So, when are we tackling this again? (Destiny)

Not gonna lie--I'm still super pissed at how fucking unfair the 4th segment was. I mean, I respect that the random teleportation forces fireteams to change strategies on the fly, but the corners of time are fucking INSANE! I don't care if Cody got it perfect, it's just impossible! There's a good million oracles that spawn in that Venus jungle/Mars desert. Sometimes, even 4 or 5 at once. And if you miss a single one of them, everybody dies! And THEN the goddamn minotaurs and fucking Hobgoblins--even the Relic's right trigger smash attack doesn't even hurt! It's like Angry and Lightswitch are on--and if ANYONE in the wilderness dies, the whole damn thing falls apart--someone has to go inside, they get killed instantly, and it's over.

I felt exactly the same way the very first time I ran the raid. It was INSANE. How are we going to beat this?! (I even had that same moment where we stared at all the oracles in the portals and shook our heads. They spawn so fast!) However instead of wanting to give up, it made me push harder to figure it out.

You will get he hang of it eventually. I suggest working out the strategies on your own as you play with a fireteam, but I can offer tips if you want.

Here is a big pro tip that helped when I was helping a friend and his group through the hard mode raid last night. They were all relatively underleveled and undergeared. If you can't kill all the oracles, and you think you'll succumb to them, just have everybody run out the portal! You won't get time's vengeance, but you also won't all die. Wait for the next teleport cycle, and try again.

Huh. I never knew that.

Okay, I have a few more questions:

Do people get Marked by the void as soon as they teleport? Because at one point, I was right next to the teleporter by accident when my teammates opened it, and it sucked me in and I got marked immediately.

Also, what exactly is Time's Vengeance? The only benefit I see from it is having an "infinite" shield to shoot from, which helps, but I still can't figure out why we have to be so far back, AND right in Atheon's line of fire while waiting for the relic to get there. It's too far away for my Machine Gun to be of any accurate help. Additionally, what can a Sunsinger do? My Radiance doesn't really help at all, because even when I do so, the game just hits me right back down, if I can use it at all. I'm considering just switching to Voidwalker, which will make the platform segment impossible. But seriously, what use is Radiance? What can I do with it that I'm missing?

Also, is there anything Atheon is weak against, specifically in terms of elementals? I'm guessing not.
