My first impression is that this guy is - as one of the commenter so eloquently put it - a pseudo-intellectual twat.
COD goal driven - crush opponent - hear him suffer
Destiny experience driven
Without wasting my time listing to his entire 15 minute rant over randomly spliced gameplay clips, this doesn't appear true at all.How many goals are you given in destiny? Get to 30, level up these weapons, acquire these weapons, do these bounties, get this currency, this item. Why do people raid? To get cool weapons, unique armour pieces. Loot. Loot. Loot.
Completely. Destiny is by and large REWARD driven, now experience driven. If it were experience driven, you wouldn't need rewards.
