And the guy with his thorn is probably not maximizing his stability. He probably doesn't know how to land head shots on a moving human target. He isn't ducking for cover because he assumes he can steam roll a 27 and he hasn't accounted for the fact that everyone else is using a stagger-chaining auto cannon like Suros. He's probably not familiar with the maps/loadouts and doesn't realize that Thorn isn't the best choice on, say, Anomaly. He may not even know which control points are the best. And so he dies. A lot.
